First a very big thank you to everyone for their efforts for our charity night in aid of St Julias Hospice. Altogether will the raffle, thunderball draws, donations and table money the sum of £146 was raised. Many thanks to you all.
I have been trying to check a few prices etc for our Christmas lunch party to be held on 9th January. It seems that Christmas lunches are costing very close to £20 per head although I have not yet been in touch with the Marazion Hotel. The White Hart in Hayle does a 3 course Sunday roast for £12.95 and the Lamb and Flag advertise a senior citizens 3 course lunch Monday to Saturday for £10.95. I thought I might go there tomorrow [Wednesday] to sample their food and wondered if anyone would care to join me. Always nice to have a second opinion. I do not think we need pay so much more for a "Christmas Lunch" which us usually the same amount of food but with Christmas Crackers etc. Your views would be much appreciated.
