SAD NEWS

I have just heard that Mary Reynolds has died after being admitted a while back in a Care Home near Truro. The funeral is on Thursday at 12 o'clock at Camborne crematorium followed by a wake at the Yacht Inn at Penzance at 1pm.

Welcome Back

It was nice to see Pam Wakley back and progressing and wishing her well for continued recovery. It was also good to see such a good turn out, thank you everybody. The newcomer salver will still be played on Friday 5th May, despite numbers looking on the low side. However numbers also look poor for the Saturday lunch on May 20th so unless there is a surge I will probably have to cancel this. It needs a minimum of 20 and I only have half that number at the moment. DIARY NOTICE Amended

The competition for the Newcomer Salver will be played on Friday 5th May and is open to pairs from Helston and Carbis Bay.

The Saturday lunch at the White Hart that I had provisionally booked for the 6th May has been put back by two weeks to Saturday 20th May. The two course lunch has gone up so the price is £13 for members and guests. We will play an individual competition during the afternoon in the hotel, subject to numbers.
